OUR FAVOURITE THINGS
We thought the best way to start the blog was to tell you about our favourite things, the inspiration and motivation behind our designs.
We constantly surround ourselves with images of beautiful things that we love. We are collectors of pieces from the past, and we constantly draw inspiration from vintage images. Old record covers, vintage designer brands - especially chanel, sequins and trims, old photographs, jewels and lavish fabrics. These items provide us with the canvas that we use to create each individual piece of SAXONNE.
We get most of our inspiration from travel, people and collected pieces. We love mixing up styles, like adding heavy studding to a feminine piece to give it an edge. Fashion is all about puting together pieces, vintage, contemporary and new age.....but it just seems that the oldies are always the goodies!

The old chanel campaigns were so ahead of their times. Timeless and elegant, and still so fashionable today.
